The suggested number of stand off mounts is based on final print size. A good rule of thumb is 1 mount for every 24" of perimeter and round up to an even number with a maximum of 10 stand offs. Perimeter is width x height x 2.
A 24x24" print needs 4 stand offs (96" perimeter ÷ 24" = 4 stand offs)
A 24x36" print needs 6 stand offs (120" perimeter ÷ 24" = 5, round up to 6 stand offs)
A 36x48" print needs 8 stand offs (168" perimeter ÷ 24" = 7, round up to 8 stand offs)
A 48x48" print needs 8 stand offs (192" perimeter ÷ 24" = 8 stand offs)
A 48x96" print needs 10 stand offs (288" perimeter ÷ 24" = 12, but 10 stand offs will do)
The barrel size of the stand off mount will determine how far off the wall your acrylic print will be. Choose between 1/2" to 2".
